She is quite a contrast to the better-behaved and more laid back Splash. Cayenne is reserved with strangers, but is exceptionally loving and affectionate with family and friends she knows. She's very alert and an excellent watch dog, she is my doorbell!. Like many Tollers, she is tennis ball and frisbee obsessed, she will retrieve for hours and even sleeps with a ball in her mouth!

We have worked quite a bit on field training, where she is a natural! She is a retrieving fanatic, is a good swimmer with fantastic water entry, is very birdy, an excellent marker and persistent even in heavy cover...I'm really having fun with her! She has completed the beginners obedience class, where she was the star pupil! She is showing excellent obedience potential, passed her Canine Good Citizen test with flying colors at only 13 months old and now working towards a CD and beyond. I have also started her on tracking, and she is loving it!

Agility is where Cayenne truly shines. She earned her ADC (Agility Dog Canada) title with AAC in her first weekend of trialing (May 4/5 2002), earning a qualifying score in 6/8 runs, and was in the ribbons for 7/8 runs!

She now has her AG.N, AG.I, & AG.X titles in CKC (She also earned one High In Trial at her first CKC agility trial, was runner-up to High In Trial at her second, and won High Aggregate in Excellent over world team members the weekend she achieved her AG.X title!), her ADC & AADC titles with AAC, as well as 5 Masters Standard legs, she now has 5/7 legs needed for her MADC with AAC! She also has 2 legs towards her AD title with USDAA.

We look forward to further trials in 2004 with AAC, CKC, USDAA, and plan to try NADAC & AKC as well.

In May 2002 Cayenne made a trip into the comformation ring. Despite being very out of coat, Cayenne took Reserve Winners Bitch the first day, and on the second day she took Best Of Breed in an entry of 6 for her first 3 points! In Aug 2002, she took Reserve Winners at the BC Toller Booster.Her next trip into the show ring was this May, where despite being 6 weeks pregant, she took Winners Bitch 2/3 days, bring her total point count to 5... she's halfway to her Championship now!

Cayenne has a dark pink nose, amber eyes, white chest, white feet, a small white tail tip and a smudge of white just above her nose. She is quite small for a female at exactly 16" and 28 lbs at 3 years old. She has a shorter but thick and somewhat wavy coat in a copper color, with a beautiful bushy tail!

Cayenne's first litter was born Nov 20, 2002, the sire was BIS/BPIS/BISS Ch. Ruaview's Cape Breton Schooner. Watch for these pups in the show ring, as 4/5 pups in the litter are in show homes! Already they have done extremely well...they are only 10 months old but Rascal has 8 Ch points & 2 BOB to his credit, Blaze has her Championship, two Group 4th placements, a Best Puppy In Show, several Best Puppy In Group wins, a CGC, a CGN & 2/3 P-CD obedience title, while Pyro has a Best Puppy in Group, Best Puppy in Sporting Specialty, Reserve Best in Breeders Sweeps at the National, and was 1st in 6-9 female at the National.

Her next litter was born June 7, 2003, the sire is Ch. Tollwest Can't Go Wrong W'Raw (Brody). It was a small litter of only 3 puppies (2 boys and a girl) but what the litter lacked in number it more than made up in quality! All 3 pups have gone to show/breeding homes, and I am very excited by their potential :)
