Blaze (BPIS, MBPIG Ch Tollwest Blaze Of Fire PCD, CGN, PCD, 3/15 Am Ch) is a beautiful female from Cayenne's first litter. Blaze is co-owned by Simone Sortwell and myself, and she lives in Mission BC. She is very sweet, and loves to snuggle. She has a small white tail tip, white feet, white chest, and a narrow blaze of white on her face. She has excellent bone for her size, has a wonderful head & expression, and great length of leg. I am very excited by her potential! 18" and 35.5 lbs at 12 months.Her conformation debut was in May/03, where she won Best Puppy in Breed both days, and also picked up her first point at only a couple days past 6 months old! She placed 4th in a very strong class of 9 Junior females at the Canadian National, and later that day won Best Puppy In Group in the all-breed show! The following week, she picked up a 2 pt Winners Bitch & 2 Best Puppy In Breed. She returned to the show ring in September - on the Friday she won Best of Breed, Group 4th & Best Puppy in Group! Then on Saturday, she won Best of Breed, Group 4th and Best Puppy In Show, to finish her Championship on her 10 month birthday! After that, she has been specialed on a limited basic, with numerous Best Of Breed wins to her credit In May/04 she made her AKC show debut, and came home with a 3 pt major, Best of Breed and Group 4th her first day out! Watch for her to be back in the US rings this summer. She is working extremely well in obedience, and graduated from Advanced Obedience at only 5.5 months old. She made her obedience debut at only 7 months old, and had 2 legs towards her PCD (Pre-Novice obedience title) before she turned 8 months! She now has her CGC & CGN titles and finished her PCD title in the next availale trial at 12 months old. She is also training in agility, flyball, tracking and field. Her eyes are CERF normal (Jan/04), heart is OFA normal. She will be Optigen tested in the near future (A-B breeding) and hips will be x-rayed this summer. Her first litter is planned for late 2004/early 2005.
